At least once in their life each person, questions why does he, or she, live? Some ponder why mankind actually exists, what is the purpose of personal existence. For all the similarity in the thought and cognition systems of the intelligent human, Homo sapiens, each individual will arrive at answers to these questions in very much their own, unique, way. But irrespective of the cultural, ethnic, political, economic, social, psychological and other specifics views and convictions, the human being is, first and foremost, a social phenomenon. As a result inquiries of a supra-individual nature need constant social scrutiny and comment; and answers should be true not just for today, but also for tomorrow at the very least. This book is an attempt to delineate the real, ‘problem’ field, and the author has tried to set forth certain views and thoughts concerning current problems for humanity. Where necessary, he makes excursions into the past which, in conjunction with modern scientific methods, clearly focus on existing historical links between actual events in the past and current problems in contemporary life, problems that hang like a large and ominous cloud over mankind.
This book gives us the chance to look at widely-known events and facts from a viewpoint that is an alternative to the current generally accepted one. In the company of the book’s heroes, the author’s point of view allows us, as we make our way via the ‘cognitive paths’ of mistakes and the difficult search for the truth, to arrive at objective deductions that are capable of changing our contemporaries’ outlook on the occurrences of life. This book is about the past, the present and the future. It reveals the direction, target and method that someone must follow, if he or she is worthy to be a human being. This book is about people who are not trying to alter the world, but to demonstrate the need (which has been imminent for a long time) for certain changes, a need that most people can implicitly sense. The heroes of the book are people from different cultures, all of them well educated, who associate and tell each other about their experiences, which are sometimes failures, and even tragedies.
The book is written in a modern style and is dynamic and gripping. In the company of the book’s heroes, the reader has the chance not just to visit the characters’ thought processes, but also to make ‘real’ journeys round the world, visiting exhibitions of modern art and internationally famous museums, and making scientific discoveries that are significant for the whole of mankind. This book was written in a completely new style which author has called the Supra Essay (SE). In this new style (SE style), classic literary style is woven together in an entirely harmonious way with the discoveries of contemporary research in such fields of learning as
- Psychology;
- Sociology;
- Cultural Studies;
- Economics;
- Social Psychology;
- Anthropology;
- Philosophy;
- Noetic Positivism;
The scientific community should hardly be able to avoid discussing the book since it will have the opportunity, in the light of the author’s completely new and professionally expressed hypotheses, to argue with him about his new, fully formulated and proven scientific theory of noetic positivism...
A science novel in two parts
Part One
"The Sigma Passion" Part 1 Noetic Positivism edition by Vlad K Once Mystery Thriller Suspense eBooks
Delineating its title, "The Sigma Passion Part 1" is all about its original subtitle- "The Power of Passion." Once the reader undertakes a lofty but important Foreword section, a headlong plunge into just exactly how powerful passion can be, and turns out to be in the lives of the heroes of the book, erupts and never abates. Drawn into a twist turn tale of two learned men, we traverse a collage of continents through confessor and confider as each examines, through a glass darkly, his actions and the somehow surprising ensuing repercussions.Foisted together by virtue of side-by-side airline seating, our heroes (if we really deem them heroes) converse; one reluctantly mostly listens as the other seeks absolution. Juxtaposed, the two having little in common at first glance, in a coincidence of fate ultimately display parallel experiences through their own jaded reflections. We come to an observer's understanding of who they are in the present and what will formulate their future via their miss-stepped roads of the past.
Paths that circumnavigate the globe culminate in what ought to be lives well-examined; worth living. But it is left to a third unrelated hero and the reader to sift the remains of what went wrong under what influence(s) both culturally and sociologically. Resting for the to-be-continued-moment at the story's end, a prosecuting third hero launches an empirical critique. The global world of finance, the relentless wildfire pace of advertising, and the time honored denigration of females-assigned-sexual-object roles that have shaped and continue to miss-shape our world come under scrutiny and fire. Since the two "learned" characters of the story aren't capable, someone needed to step in to pose the necessary interrogation that the characters could or would not.
Under the auspice of dark-glassed scrutiny made transparent, the reader is free to emerge with introspective consideration, assume an empathic course should it fit, or simply take in a gripping story. "The Sigma Passion Part 1" is a work of complexity which may be read on a number of levels. Its fast read portrayal of the mechanisms of passion is painted vibrantly, chaotically and overwhelmingly. With color so thickly layered, it begs the well-sought curiosity of why we live and for what purpose while simultaneously forcing an inquiry as to whether or not we have the right to be considered a participant in the human race; given our trespasses, or those we forgive who trespass against us.
With much to be learned from "The Sigma Passion Part 1," it wouldn't be a bad idea to keep a very current encyclopedia at hand. This is a work to be read by the scholarly and novice alike. Vlad K. Once invokes the construct of his Noetic Positivism in a high-minded manner to appeal to scientists and scientific research. That is not to say that the every day reader is left to sort it out in the dust. But to grasp the entirety of his palette, one must be poised to embark on an ontological journey.
Should you have your bags packed, "The Sigma Passion Part 2" lies ahead...thankfully!
